It certainly is not a concern of mine that any of these characters will possibly show up at my door one day.

And why is that??

Because I don't believe in these characters.  They may be symbols for beliefs ...and for committed standards of justice, but they are just symbols with various character traits.

And there are those who don't stand for justice at all.

Some may speak justice, and speak peace ...but they are not at all about it.

Part of the problem is, we often have different ideas on what we feel justice means.

And there are those who are counting on that fact ...as they can use it to their advantage.  Some would call it stirring the pot, while others may suggest you just smoke it ...and relax.  After all, they've got it all in hand.

My first thoughts in the morning many be varied. I'd like to think that I'd awaken every morning with gratefulness to God, thankful for the freedoms I have, and listening to the celebration of dawn with birds singing.

But, we get different things on our mind, different concerns, and distractions.

It's often the blessings that we have that allow us our varied thoughts. If I awoke most mornings to bombs going off, or people shrieking in pain ...my thought would be not as varied, and more focused.

I guess that's why we need to often refocus.  

It's not difficult.  We just need to look to the things we already know to be true.

We may not hear a whirling of a cape, nor experience what we may consider a timely rescue ...but, if we turn to Jesus, we will be saved.
